WOW guys, sonicnofadz saw this whole process of building the EVO X from scratch go down. Apparently they slapped together this ***** nilly SUV EVO X for us without any testing/research/heritage behind it. I wonder what's taking so long to build this evo X then, I mean it's going to be 3 or more years before it's on the road, I guess they have very long lunch breaks at Mitsu
But seriously man, you want us to understand or agreee with you when you say some very ignorant crap that we've ever read here.

Exactly, how long does it take to slap a turbo kit and lowering springs on a Caliber or Outlander. The car should already be out if that's all that's going into it.

I highly doubt that Mitsu will reengineer what is essentially the same car for the US market. Designing a vehicle to comply with US regulations is one thing (LHD, emissions control, safety standards) is one thing, making it bigger for the sake of it does not make any sense. I have not seen any articles about the 4G63 living past the current generation.

Where did you get all your WRONG information???

I think you forgot to mention that the JDM version will also be available as RWD and come in 2 door convertible.

Not sure about the automatic, but i've read that at least for the manual they'll limit launches to 5k rpm as they're trying to save warranty tranny claims now that all mitsu's will come with WAY better warranty terms.

Where did you get this information?
Every magazine articles and even Mitsu's own personnel are indicating their intention of making all future models including evo universal globally.
As far as their intro date, I thought it was supposed to be at Tokyo Auto Show.
You might wanna double check your source.
They seem extremely erroneous.

My only hope is for it 't care for it to be dependable . Cus I don't care for Dodge engeneering to well. How the dependability for the long haul is the question. But I love the looks.

I think the Prototype X is a great Evolution from the 08 Lancer and anything else prior to that! Let's see what we get next year when it's going to be in the showrooms!

wow in the 3 years we have been reading about the new evo, you are the first to say it will keep the 4g63 motor.

You must really be in denial

DSG is great and all, but I hate the fact that it is going to take away so much from the driver. With a manual transmission and 2 evos that are the same it is a drivers race, you get to use your shifting skills. Now 2 same evos with DSG, it becomes as simple as a flick of a finger...
Who's gonna be the fastest finger on evoM?
As for me I am going with a full manual, I <3 CLUTCH
