Lancer Evolution X News, Info, Pics, etc... | [ALL THREADS MERGED]
Edmunds.com has a little video of the X at Strees of Willow. Althought Mitsubishi wasen't pushing the car to its limit it is interesting that they brought a M3 / STi and VW to test against with the X.

Manual Shifting is always better for the ultimate driving experience... DONT for one second think Im saying that ALL paddles are bad. But for street, and once and awhile track use. The manual just seems more practicle.. Kinda hard to Heel Toe downshift with a paddleshifter.....
They still drove it more than anyone else. But that is irrelevant, what they said about the DSG was all fact. Do some research on how the transmission works and you will come to the same conclusion. If you don't want to accept that its your problem.
I don't agree. If it was a standard type of automatic slushbox, the manual is infinitely better. However... if it's a DSG or similar clutchless tranny, the driving experience is equal if not better than the manual tranny. This is the case at least for me. I've tried all of them and the paddle shifter DSG is a wonderful transmission. In many ways is quite superior that the manual. Can you say "never miss a shift?".....
I think acer7 said manual provides better experience...
Driving manual is just more involving and nothing is more satisfying when
you nail down a perfect heel-and-toe downshift into the corner...
