basically how do you connect the pins together? do I solder them, strip the wire, or use something to connect them?
Well, it depends what you got. If you just got a serial cable, then you can cut one end off of it, and strip the wires on the bare end. Use a continuity meter, or multimeter, to find out which pin is the one you want according to the directions (can't remember from memory) then just connect the wire it says to the one coming off the wideband. The other pin, that is supposed to be grounded, just ground that somewhere as well (same place the wideband is maybe). Make sure the cable reaches where the laptop will sit, like in the seat or whatever, with a little slack for sure, in case a passenger is holding it for you.

Yeah though, just solder the lines, unless you want it removable, then you can buy a harness from autozone, and solder on each side of the harness, so that it's removable, but then you can lose it....

I'm routing mine from up under the dash, across to the glovebox, and then popping it out there, so I can store it in the glovebox when not in use.

Success!!! That wasnt so bad at all even though I did cut the whole cord in half and had to recconect the lines again lol, but other than that it works great. All im waiting for is my 399 maf to come in, and my other slim fan and I should be off to some great boosting.

RoadSpike reminds me of myself, but when I'm in an IT setting. People ask, and before I give them a chance to do it themselves, I just say screw it and fix it for them. I don't mean this as a knock on you RS, but I just giggled a bit when I read it.

Also, so you have AFR's getting logged, right steven? more logs for me to play with?

You got mail :P

Hornstar:

Yeah i'm aware but some things are best left seen rather than explained like when i was trying to describe what the map should look like generally to 03lance I just simply showed him the results rather than trying to describe the method and he could come up with his own conclusions to the way it works out.

Thats what i'm beginning to suspect as they act like much much bigger than 440cc.

If they are modified 440's they will be closer to evo 780's

That will put his injector scaling near 600 or better.
