02 Lancer ES Turbo Project
Ok so i finally got steven on the phone and we've determined that he has OEM modified wrx injectors. That means they flow 740cc of fuel :P. This is why any time he touched the throttle it went crazy rich.
So I'm going to attempt scaling his injectors at 650cc rating to compensate for the different fuel pressure. I'm upping his latencies to add fuel back to the idle pulse which i'm modifing with this setting.
I'll also send him another file with injector scaling as the only thing touched and leave the latencies alone in case i'm way off and should get him moving

oh and i think the maf compensation was the reason why i would lean out at wot, i did a lil test and bumped it up in the upper region and gave it a test and noticed my afrs were lower then before
Lol guys the scaling ended up being 731 cc on the ecuflash program. Latencies are 3x higher than normal wrx injectors. I think we have a winning combo though just need to clear up some startup quirks and she'll be good to go.
hey does anyone know if the evo 8 stock injectors are a direct swap in the 4G94 motor? If they are I might just buy some off roadspike so I can make his job easier with tuning
yeah I got the logs, good and bad news,
Good - I can boost up to 3 and 1/2 to 4 without any engine knocks from the CEL, it looks pretty close on the boost gauge
Bad - when I get up to boost levels I can feel the car hesitate and now it seems like my afrs go up to 13 now when im in boost?
they were good yesterday.
Also my idle went to to lean again, so I have to press it to get it to stoich, and when I do that it richens to 12.0 something and slowly goes back up to stoich and stays there. I will post up the logs for hornstar and I will email them to you.

Not really too bad of a result to be honest seems like we are getting pretty close

I'll guess the final scaling is going to be around 780 or so by the look of things. Seems we finally see the limit of those injectors and can begin zero'ing in on the final product.
