Focus RS
why are you taking it so personally anyway? get your panties out of a bunch...
Agreed. I hope that is actually how they approached sign off on that project as he is striving for that little bit more and from my experience in product design, that is always a good thing.
My question was rhetorical.

because of all the BS speculation here, I can't remember if the official weight has been posted in this thread yet.

At 3460lbs does this seem to anyone like a better buy than an Evo X or STI? I know it has a bit more power to start with but no like that means much to any of us.
Just curious as to what it is that people are excited about other than something different.

With the base at 3,460 lbs its heavier than a base STi (3,386) but lighter than a base Evo 10 (3,527)
STi Limited is 3,439 lbs (leather, heated seats, sunroof)
AWD Hatch vs AWD Hatch, the Golf R (3,340) has it beat, at least weight wise.
The AWD Hatchback Mercedes AMG GLA45 is a closer competitor weight and power wise at 355hp/332tq and 3,450 lbs.
BTW, all these comparisons are of new and currently shipping actual production cars (minus the FoRS). Not used, modified, jet fighters or submarines with coilovers.
