It's a hit or miss deal. I've had over 8k in warranty work(wing, calipers, steering wheel, and hood vent) done on my 03 and have not had a single fuss or problem with my dealership. I really hate to see how bad some of the guy/gals on here are getting treated. I definately feel blessed that I was fortunate enough to find a good dealership close to home.

You know the old statistic, if you treat a customer right, they tell two people, treat them wrong and they tell ten. Mitsu's dealer network may have a bad rep, but there are defintely good ones out there.

How many miles do you have on your car? I asked the dealer if they will warrant the wing but I was out of luck due to my mileage over 36k.

Give the dealer props... edit your post to include the dealer name.

My car only has 6200 miles on it. I really only drive it on the weekends and what not. They did check the mileage when I brought it in for the same reason mentioned above. I guess if you have over 36k then you cant get anything dont under warranty because its expired.

Well, like I said earlier. It's a hit or miss deal. The dealership I've dealt with has warrantied a few cars over there 36k, because the problem has obviously been prior to the 36k experation date like; wings, calipers, and stuff like that.

they don't give u so much grief on body work, when it comes to engine things they give u a harder time. When it comes down to warranty work it is up to the dealer how they want to treat u. I'm glad you will get your fixed with no problem

well from some of the topics I read about the paint i figured Id have a bigger deal to deal with, but it went smoothly.. I wont let touch my engine or anything that connects to it, if there's a problem ill take the money out and buy or fix it with bigger and better things! i just like my stock evo for now...

boost gauge and mitsu warranty

will mitsu void your warranty if you have any problems if you have an aftermaket boost gauge installed? It crazy that I even have to be concerned about something so damn stupid but we all know how mitsu is!!!!!!!! thanks

no there should be no problem, i work at a mits dealer and a gauge you will not have problems with as long as you're not foolish and hook it up incorrectly or have some sort of electrical problem because of your install.
